Coat โ€” Smooth, soft, silky single coat; the 'feathered' variety has light feathering on the ears, legs and tail. Very low maintenance.

Recognised colours โ€” Wide range โ€” white, cream, fawn, golden, red, grizzle, black-and-tan, and tricolour.

Temperament โ–พ

Gentle, dignified, sensitive and aloof. A graceful, ancient desert sighthound โ€” devoted to family, reserved with strangers, and serene indoors.

Care & Training โ–พ

Trainability โ€” Moderate โ€” intelligent but independent and sensitive; only gentle, patient positive methods work.

Grooming โ€” Very low. Occasional brushing of the feathering.

Good with โ€” Good with gentle older children and calm homes; very strong prey drive needs secure exercise areas and management with small pets.
